Meet our Ride Leaders!

Natalie Jackson

Natalie is a Spinz & Grinz, Sunday Social and WOW Ride Leader who brings a lot of positivity and FUN to every ride.

She started cycling fairly late in life (at age 36!) with a bold move into Ironman triathlon. Natalie competed in 11 Ironman races, and a couple Kona World Championships along the way. Natalie also dipped her toes into marathon swimming with a Trans-Tahoe solo swim. She moved exclusively into bike riding in 2016 when an injury forced an "early retirement" from running!

Natalie has raced Master Road World Championships in 2017, 2018 and 2019 and for now, is just enjoying time on the bike with friends and her husband, Gardie Jackson, in both Park City and Costa Blanca Spain (where Gardie and Natalie own a second home).

Natalie also enjoys time on the mountain and gravel bikes!

Outside of time on the bike, Natalie is the CFO of an energy company, rPlus Energies, based in SLC.

Come to a Sunday Road Worship ride and get to know Natalie while having a great day on the bike!

Andrea White

Andrea is a WOW Ride Leader and is excited to welcome more women to the SPCC community!

Her sports background started in alpine skiing, arriving in Utah in the 80’s as a member of the U of U Ski Team. She pursued degrees in Exercise Science and worked with elite athletes in the Human Performance Research Lab at the U of U. She’s also coached young alpine racers at PCSEF and more recently, aspiring Nordic skiers through TUNA.

After her first ride up Emigration Canyon (in sweat pants tucked into tube socks), Andrea became hooked on cycling. With a lot of naïveté, she dabbled in some of the area road races and eventually set her sights on Lotoja. In a quest to figure out the training and nutrition, she finished 13 solo Lotoja races.

These days, Andrea tries to get into the mountains as much as possible—Nordic, back-country, and alpine skiing in winter, and cycling and hiking the rest of the year.

She’s a believer in the power of nature to gain perspective.

Andrea is a Research Associate at the U of U School of Medicine, working on developing and implementing patient safety measures in hospitalized medical patients… and starting to count the days to retirement and more adventures!
