As a registered 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, we rely on the generous support of our community to help further the mission of SPCC. Our mission is to foster an inclusive, diverse, and fun cycling community that promotes health and fitness, supports both recreational and competitive cycling, and advocates for cyclist safety. By engaging riders of all ages and backgrounds, we aim to strengthen community ties while empowering individuals through the transformative power of cycling.

When contributing to the club, in addition to supporting our many rides, socials, and volunteers, you are also supporting the key initiatives the club supports. This includes helping more Park City High School Mountain Bike athletes join the team and have the resources they need to be contributing members to their high school program. It also includes aiding amateur riders on their journey to becoming the best cyclists they can be by reducing some of the financial barriers associated with the sport. As a collective group, SPCC joins forces with local nonprofits including the National Ability Center (NAC) and The Bicycle Collective to help further the impact of these organizations, whose missions align with ours.

Additionally, by partnering with local organizations, like Intermountain Healthcare, we provide educational sessions on topics covering health, nutrition, strength training, and bicycle safety. Finally, another part of our work includes advocating for safer roads for cyclists and more safety measures on our local roads and bicycle paths.

Donations to SPCC are a great way to help sustain the club, and these donations can be one-time or recurring. By purchasing an SPCC membership, you are also helping to support the club, while getting some exciting benefits in return! Sponsorships are a great revenue source for the club while also providing members with benefits. We are working on creating more SPCC branded merchandise, and the sale of these items helps to further the mission of SPCC!

2023 Revenues

SPCC is primarily run through volunteer support, including volunteer ride leads, volunteer-led fundraising efforts and volunteer-managed events. This support is crucial to achieving our mission, and wouldn’t be made possible without our generous network of volunteers. Our Clubhouse, located at 875 Ironhorse Dr., is our current ride meeting location, and helps us have a place for members to meet and socialize. The club’s operational expenses are necessary to help fulfill the daily operations of the club while also ensuring that the bulk of our resources are geared toward mission related activities. Our social events and educational sessions build a sense of community with our members, and are essential to helping us further our mission. Charitable donations help support organizations like the National Ability Center (NAC) and The Bicycle Collective
